Who am I and what do I do at autarc?

I am Etienne, co-founder and CEO of autarc. My journey started at ESCP Business School, where I graduated with a Master's degree in Strategy & Digital Business. With around four years of experience in the HVAC industry, I specialized in heat pumps. At autarc, I bring this expertise to the table, leading the team as CEO and working passionately towards our vision.

What did I do before autarc?

Before autarc, I gained valuable experience during my studies at ESCP Business School and in various consulting and growth companies. As the founder of "The Assisi", a vertically integrated fashion brand, I was able to develop my entrepreneurial side and gain valuable insights into the challenges of scaling businesses.

Why autarc?

For me, founding autarc was the logical continuation of my passion for sustainable technologies. The opportunity to accelerate decarbonization in the heating sector motivates me every day. Autarc allows me to further develop my technical skills in software engineering and product design while having a positive impact on the environment.

What do I do outside of autarc?

Away from autarc, I find joy in new challenges and am passionate about continuous learning. I focus on expanding my skills in software engineering and product design. Also, I enjoy reading books or practicing various sports classes in Berlin. Furthermore, in the past, I was involved in a society at ESCP called Ethos, where we helped students found their ventures with sustainable impact.
