Who am I and what do I do at autarc?

I am Anik, Product Designer at autarc. As part of the solar team, we are focusing on expanding the product for PV planning and building the area completely as an integrated tool. In addition to the designs for the user interface and the experience, I work closely with the team on the strategy in which we develop a vision for the product and build new features.

What did I do before autarc?

My previous experience was in branding agencies and a Scandinavian digital consultancy. Therefore, my background in design is broadly diversified from brand strategy, corporate design to digital product development in retail and health. Previously, I took a classic path and studied Visual Communication in Münster, where I was already involved in many student organizations that dealt with start-ups and corporate consulting. These experiences have shaped my passion for the start-up ecosystem. During my last station - a web development bootcamp at Le Wagon - I was able to sharpen my technical know-how in product development.

Why autarc?

Product design in an organization where design and functional innovation go hand in hand, as well as an environment of ambitious individuals driving the development of sustainable technologies.Every day I learn new knowledge and can sharpen my skills in product development and design, while working in a team is endless fun. :-)

What do I do outside of autarc?

Apart from autarc, I like to be active and out and about a lot - I live out my passion for sport with Pilates, yoga, cycling or in various running groups. When I'm not in the studio, you can find me eating (or cooking) with friends as I love trying out new and special restaurants and keep a variety of lists of the best places in Berlin, even developing a social platform for restaurant recommendations from friends during my bootcamp. I also enjoy reading books, writing and educating myself in the field of (product) design by going to meet-ups, talks and exhibitions.
